The Safe Harbour is a 19th century old coaching inn, formerly known as the Commercial Hotel and is one of the few inns around with a traditional lounge bar and public bar. Set above the historic town of Fowey, with inevitable views overlooking the church and river, we are a traditional inn which respects the character and history of the building whilst offering refurbished and contemporary bedrooms.

The Small Port of Fowey

Fowey is a small town, civil parish and cargo port at the mount of the River Fowey in South Cornwall. It offers a wide range of activists, many water based including boat trips, kayaking and water sports. There are fantastic walking trails cycle routes and beaches for all to enjoy. The individual shops and galleries also offer a different shopping experience that you wouldn’t find on the high street.
